1. How do I get started?
The Splat Paint process begins with an appointment at your home or office to view the space and discuss the intended project. During this time, I would also like to see any of your inspirations for the space, such as fabrics, color charts and any other examples of your style or likes.
2. What if I don’t know what color and/or treatment would look best?
Although I am not an “interior decorator,” I have a tremendous amount of experience as well as a keen sense of color and style. I am happy to assist you with suggestions for your space.
3. What’s the next step?
Within a week or so, depending upon the complexity of the project and our work schedule, I will schedule a second appointment to show you either a sketch (in the case of a mural) or a sample board (in the case of an artistic wall finish). At the same time, I will also provide you with a comprehensive proposal including the cost of each project, the amount of time to complete and a proposed start date. The sooner we are able to agree on the work, the sooner we can get your project scheduled.
4. What sort of cost should I anticipate?
The cost of a mural or artistic finish is dependent upon the amount of time involved in its creation and application, the difficulty of the project, travel costs (if outside the Tampa Bay area), as well as the cost of products and supplies. Prices for different murals and finishes vary greatly. It is nearly impossible to provide even a ballpark price without a full understanding of the project. There is a minimum $1000 fee per project.
5. Do you require a deposit?
A 50% deposit is required when your project is entered on our calendar. The balance of our fee is due upon completion.
6. What days and hours do you work?
We generally work Monday through Friday from 8am until 4pm but these hours can be modified if necessary. We are extremely professional and dependable and unless circumstances occur beyond our control, we will continue working only on your project until it is completed.
7. Who actually does the work?
I personally work on every Splat Paint job to ensure the quality of your work. Depending upon the size of the job, however, we may bring on more team members to assist us.
8. How do I contact you?
